SVR
The Liberty Security Stream Video Recorder provides 24/7 continuous local video recording for up to 8 cameras, storing footage securely on-site with no clip limits, no monthly clip quotas, and no reliance on cloud-only storage. With 1TB or 2TB of onboard storage, HDMI local playback, and full remote access via the Liberty Live app, the ADC-SVR210 is the recommended recording solution for Liberty homes requiring always-on video evidence.
What is the Stream Video Recorder (SVR)?
The ADC-SVR210 is our residential-grade Stream Video Recorder. It is a cloud-managed, on-site NVR (network video recorder) built specifically for the Liberty Live platform. Unlike standard clip-based video plans that limit the number of uploaded clips per month, the SVR210 records every second of footage from all connected cameras continuously, storing it locally on the unit’s internal hard drive. Footage is automatically tagged with Liberty alarm system events, door openings, motion triggers, and alarm activations, so you can jump directly to relevant moments using the interactive timeline in the Liberty Live app. The SVR210 also supports third-party ONVIF Profile S and VAPIX cameras, making it compatible with a wide range of existing IP cameras in addition to all current Liberty cameras.

Frequently Asked Questions
Standard Liberty Live video plans record and upload event-triggered clips to the cloud — typically limiting the number of clips uploaded per month. The ADC-SVR210 records all cameras continuously, 24/7, to its local hard drive — no clip limits, no monthly quotas, and no missed footage. Cloud clips continue to be generated alongside local recording, so you get both local storage and cloud access.
Storage duration depends on the number of cameras, recording resolution, and motion activity. As a general guide, the 2TB model typically stores 30 or more days of footage across 4 cameras at 4MP resolution. Alarm.com provides an interactive storage calculator on their website to estimate duration based on your specific camera count and resolution settings.
Yes. The ADC-SVR210 records footage locally to its internal hard drive regardless of your internet connection. As long as the unit has power and the cameras are connected via your local network, recording continues uninterrupted. Footage stored during the outage becomes accessible again via the Liberty Live app once internet is restored.
The SVR210 has one dedicated LAN port for PoE cameras, which supports a single PoE camera connection directly. To connect multiple PoE cameras, a PoE network switch, such as the TP-Link Omada DS105GP, is required to provide additional ports. Liberty’s technicians will include the appropriate PoE switch when installing multi-camera SVR systems.
Yes. The ADC-SVR210 supports third-party IP cameras that comply with ONVIF Profile S or VAPIX standards. However, third-party cameras will not integrate with Alarm.com event tagging and may record at different resolutions. For best performance and full platform integration, Liberty Alarm.com cameras are recommended. Contact Liberty to confirm compatibility of any existing cameras.
