Braving the cold to visit local Christmas tree farms has always been a loved Christmas tradition. The magical smell and atmosphere that an authentic Christmas tree provides to a home and Christmas day is incomparable. However, with a real tree there are many precautions that a homeowner must take to prevent fires.
Every winter Canadians head south to escape the cold, leaving behind their homes for neighbours, friends or family to check in on. If you want to enjoy frozen drinks, instead of worrying about frozen pipes, then Liberty’s Smart Home and security solutions are perfect for you.
In light of Fire Prevention Week from October 8 to 14, we want to emphasize the importance of fire safety and prevention in your home. With less than three minutes from when your smoke detector goes off to evacuate your home, every second counts. Avoid the panic and stress of a household fire by having working smoke detectors, practicing your escape plan and taking the steps to prevent a fire from occurring.

Although there had been no accidents leading up to that point, as a preventative measure, Doreen began to look into installing a Liberty Alert Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) in Nancy’s home.
