Liberty, a proud sponsor and supporter of the Neurosurgery Kids Fund (NKF) at The Stollery Children’s Hospital, is happy to announce that we will once again have the privilege of partnering with the NKF at this year’s Liberty Classic golf tournament. This will be Liberty’s third year raising money in support of the NKF and their mission to provide children with brain and spinal cord injuries world-class treatment and care.
Last year’s event raised over $55,000 for charity and we hope to raise even more this year. All funds raised for the NKF go directly to programs and initiatives that improve the quality of life of those affected by pediatric neurosurgery.
The Neurosurgery Kids Fund facilitates a new kind of community building based on shared values between patients, parents, and healthcare professionals. There is currently no active community that fills this niche and this makes the Neurosurgery Kids Fund a one of a kind.
This year’s Liberty Classic is planned for Monday, August 29th at 1PM at The Quarry Golf Course Edmonton, Alberta. If you are interested in participating as a golfer, hole sponsor, feel like donating, or simply want to volunteer your time, we would love to hear from you!
